timberline trail thru-hike

My first thru-hike of an established route.  The Timberline Trail circumnavigates Mt. Hood, Oregon's highest and most prominent peak. I went early in the season and hit lots of snow on Mt. Hood's northern slopes. River crossings, swollen with snowmelt, were dangerous at times. Somehow, I managed to keep my boots on and dry for every single river crossing. The effort put into finding downed logs to cross or hop-across-able sections of river must have been tremendous.
